This website is operated by Isobel Plant, a freelance marketing consultant based in Manchester, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR, I am the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What data I collect and why

Contact and enquiry data: If you fill in a contact form, book a call, or send me a direct message, I collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share. I use this to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss working together. The legal basis for this is legitimate interest and, where applicable, the performance of a contract.

Email marketing: If you sign up to receive emails from me, I collect your name and email address. I will only send you marketing communications with your explicit consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. The legal basis for this processing is consent.

Website analytics: This site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymised data about how visitors use the site – including pages visited, time on site, device type, and approximate location. This helps me understand and improve the site. The legal basis for this is consent, and analytics cookies are only placed once you have agreed via the cookie banner. Platform data via GoHighLevel: This site uses GoHighLevel (GHL) as a marketing and CRM platform. When you submit a form, book an appointment, or interact with any functionality powered by GHL, your data – including name, email address, phone number, and any information you provide – is stored within the GoHighLevel platform. I use this data to manage client relationships, send communications you have requested, and deliver services. GoHighLevel may process data outside the UK. How long I keep your data

I retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Enquiry data is kept for up to 12 months if no working relationship follows. Client data is kept for up to 6 years in line with HMRC requirements. Email marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.

Who I share your data with

I do not sell your personal data. I may share it with trusted third-party tools that help me run my business, including Google Analytics and GoHighLevel, as described above. These providers act as data processors and are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
